Who should attend CLT?
Every current and potential leader in your church will gain valuable information, application and expertise to be used in ministry. There are 24 core Track conferences at CLT 2008. That is a conference for leaders in 24 different and specific areas of leadership in your church.
Who are the conference leaders at CLT?
We take great care to bring in some of the best conference leaders in the nation in his/her respective field. Some are from California. Some are not. Each one is selected on his/her knowledge, expertise, and experience in their ministry field. We search for leaders who not only can talk "How to." They must also be practitioners who can relate the "How to's" to the ministry settings of churches in central and northern California.
Why should I come and encourage others to attend CLT?
CLT is designed to be a comprehensive, one day equipping event for leaders of various ministry positions in the local church. CLT is very cost efficient. Instead of trying to locate training conferences for 24 leader groups in your church and sending your leaders off in 20 different directions scattered throughout the year, CLT brings some of the best practitioners in the nation to one location, all on the same day. All at a cost much less than you could send one person off for similar training. You can even carpool as a church team and lunch is included!
Is CLT a Sunday School training event?
YES and NO. CLT 2008 has 12 Sunday School and small group Bible study conferences. But that's not all! CLT provides equipping conferences for most of your church leaders from discipleship to church finances, missions teams, church office, Men and Women's ministry and more. We even have a Leadership conference to assist church leaders in discovering and developing leadership competencies.
What is the cost for CLT 2008?
The cost to members of churches in sponsoring associations is $20 per person. For all others desiring to attend the cost is $50.
That is what it costs to attend CLT 2008. The actual cost of CLT is around $80,000. That works out to about $140 per person to attend. However, we are very fortunate and blessed to have partners in ministry who believe in the importance of equipping leadership. These partners fund the major portion of CLT so we can make it affordable to everyone. When you are at CLT, say thank you to our sponsoring partners.
Why are there two prices for CLT?
The price for attending is reduced dramatically thanks to the partnership of several ministries. These partnerships drive the cost of attending CLT down from $140 to $50 per person.
Leaders from churches affiliated with one of CLT's sponsoring associations receive a greater reduced registration because they give throughout the year to support their association. The association then sends a small portion of that funding to help sponsor CLT.
