This conference will address the issues of what it means to be a religious corporation, how its governing documents (i.e., bylaws) define the manner in which they conduct business and the role and responsibilities its legal representatives have in managing its activities.
The second half of this conference addresses the issue of sexual misconduct and malfeasance in the church and how the religious corporation, its assets and personnel are being exposed and safeguard procedures its legal representatives can implement to control this exposure and fulfill their oversight responsibilities.
